Murdannia keisak is a bamboo-looking stem plant from Asia, often found growing in rice fields. It has upright growth but branches out willingly when cut back. The leaves are light green, approximately 1 cm wide and 3–5 cm long. The stem apex becomes reddish when exposed to CO₂ and strong light. Due to its quick growth, the longest shoots require ongoing trimming, and some of the tops can be replanted to maintain a beautiful and varied group of plants.
