Hygrophila polysperma, also known as Dwarf Hygrophila, is one of the hardiest aquarium plants from South-East Asia. It grows rapidly, with stems reaching 25–40 cm in height and 4–8 cm in width. This plant is excellent for beginners and helps control algae by absorbing excess nutrients.
