Cryptocoryne parva is the smallest known member of the Cryptocoryne genus, native to Sri Lanka. It forms small rosettes reaching between 5-8 cm in height. Unlike other Cryptocorynes, it maintains its leaf shape and color regardless of cultivation conditions. It requires more light than most Cryptocorynes and should not be overshadowed by other plants.
