Plant Information
Bucephalandra sp. 'Red' is a striking and compact epiphyte known for its deep reddish-bronze tones and shimmering leaves, which add a vibrant accent to any aquascape. Native to Borneo’s fast-flowing streams, this plant naturally grows on rocks and driftwood, making it ideal for hardscape attachment in the foreground or midground.
It thrives under low to medium light, but stronger lighting and CO₂ can bring out more intense coloration. Growth is slow and steady, which helps maintain aquascape balance without frequent trimming. It's an excellent choice for nano tanks or detail-focused aquascapes.
Buce 'Red' is very low-maintenance and beginner-friendly, with a strong resistance to fluctuating water parameters. Avoid burying the rhizome—just attach it to decor using glue or thread.
